Testing Education That Actually Works

We started AdvanceTide because too many testing courses teach theory without practical application.

Based in Hsinchu since early 2023, we focus on automated testing education that prepares students for real work environments. Our programs emphasize hands-on experience with tools companies actually use, taught by professionals who've worked in the field for years.

How We Got Here

The path from frustration with existing training to building something better took time and plenty of learning experiences along the way.

2023

The Beginning

Started with three instructors and a pilot program for twelve students. We made mistakes early but learned what worked through direct feedback and iteration.

2024

Program Expansion

Added specialized tracks in API testing and continuous integration after students kept asking for more depth in these areas. Also partnered with local tech companies to align curriculum with actual hiring needs.

2025

Current Focus

Now running multiple cohorts throughout the year while developing advanced certification programs. Our autumn 2025 enrollment opens in July with updated course content based on recent industry shifts.

What Guides Our Work

These aren't corporate buzzwords we put on the wall. They're principles that shape how we design courses, interact with students, and measure our own success.

Practical Over Theoretical

Every lesson connects to something you'll encounter in actual testing work. We skip the fluff and focus on skills that matter when you're facing a real codebase.

Honest About Limitations

Testing isn't magic, and we don't pretend it is. Some problems are hard to solve. Some tests will be flaky. We teach you how to handle reality, not an ideal scenario.

Continuous Improvement

Technology changes fast. Our curriculum gets updated regularly based on what's happening in the industry and what former students tell us they need.

Student Success First

Class size stays small so instructors can provide individual attention. We'd rather help fewer people really learn than rush hundreds through a generic program.

Who Teaches Here

Our instructors come from testing backgrounds at tech companies throughout Taiwan and Southeast Asia. They teach because they enjoy it and remember what it was like to learn this stuff the first time.

What You Can Expect From Us

We're not going to promise you'll become a senior engineer in six months or that companies will fight over you. But we will give you a solid foundation in automated testing that companies value.

Our programs run for six to twelve months depending on the track you choose. Most students need about fifteen hours per week for coursework. Job placement support continues for six months after graduation, though finding work depends on many factors beyond what we can control.

If you're considering automated testing as a career path and want training that respects your time by focusing on what actually matters, we'd be happy to discuss whether our programs make sense for your goals.
